"Invader Zim" is an American animated television series that aired on Nickelodeon from 2001 to 2002, and on Nicktoons Network from 2002 until its cancellation in 2006. 

The award-winning cartoon series followed an extraterrestrial being named Zim, who after being banished from his home planet of Irk, was sent on a mission to conquer planet Earth and enslave the human race with the help of his robot GIR.

On his quest, he met many characters, some of which include Zim's school teacher Ms. Bitters, his ruler, The All Mighty Tallest, but none more significant than his hyperactive and not so brilliant assistant GIR. 

They also met Dib Membrane, a young and intelligent schoolboy who was determined to stop Zim from taking over the world, and Dib's antisocial and angry sister Gaz, whose only purpose was to eat pizza and to play video games.
