About This Quiz

Prepare for takeoff; we're gonna take you right into the danger zone with this quiz...and it might even take your breath away!

Did you ever wonder how Top Gun came to be? In 1983, producers Don Simpson and Jerry Bruckheimer read a magazine article detailing the life of fighter pilots at the Naval Air Station Miramar in San Diego. They paired up with screenwriters Jim Cash and Jack Epps, Jr. and created one of the most memorable, less we say quotable, films of the 1980s. They had a $15 million budget, along with a young, attractive cast. The film went on to earn an Academy Award for Best Original Song, as well as a whopping $356 million at the box office! But that's not all that was earned... Tom Cruise gained a great deal of notoriety as an up and coming actor. Following his role as Maverick, Cruise went on to star in films like A Few Good Men, Jerry Maguire, Interview with the Vampire, and of course, the Mission: Impossible series.

Now don't you lose that lovin' feeling! If you can finish all of these Top Gun quotes, you can be my wingman anytime. Wheels up, let's see how you do!
