About This Quiz

Ever heard of this "weird" show called "Riverdale?" Well, if you haven't, we can sum it up for you with this quote: "No one's innocent in crime town." Every character has some kind of goofy nickname, and there's always drama or trouble going on as well. But luckily, there's tons of romantic scenes and love interests to balance this out, which is probably why it makes for great TV. So in this "Southside Serpents" quiz, we're going to test your knowledge on the most iconic "Riverdale" quotes!

But be careful, because not all of these quotes are legit. We've mixed some fake ones in just to throw you off, because we want to see if you're a true super fan of this show. So, would you recognize a quote like "Because we're endgame, Archie," or do you think that a quote like "Make like a queen and leave" is the real deal? And speaking of queens, you'll find this quote in the show, which actually sounds like something from "Game of Thrones:" "Follow me, your Gryphon Queen, away from this fortress, and back to the kingdom of Eldervair!" Yeah, we told you it was a weird show. So let's test your knowledge right now with some catchy quotes!

What does your intuition say about this quote: "Sardonic humor is just my way of relating to the world."

Jughead Jones has quite the temper in the "Riverdale" series, but he's also quite intelligent, as noted by the quote above. He also has a unique sense of humor that others would describe as "dark."

Could this one actually be a "Riverdale" quote? "Look, I'm not who you think I am. I'm just a nobody."

We had Jughead Jones in mind when we made up this quote, because he's the type of person who's a lone wolf at heart and a little bit weird (as he calls himself in the "Riverdale" show).

How about this one: "I'm in the mood for chaos."

Everybody loves Cheryl Blossom, right? OK, maybe not. Also known as "The Ice Woman" and "President Blossom," Cheryl is confident, rude and assertive, which is probably why she loves chaos.

Is this one real or fake: "Betty's ponytail is iconic and beyond reproach."

You might know him as "Kev" or "Preppy," but Kevin Keller is a total sweetheart. Though he's also known for his charm and kindness, he's not afraid of being openly honest about his opinions.

Clearly, this one is a "Riverdale" quote, right? "Someone's gotta be a bombshell around here, and it ain't any of you guys."

Cheryl Blossom never said this in "Riverdale," but it sounds like something she would say, right? In fact, Veronica Lodge repeatedly calls her "Cheryl Bombshell" in the show (and it's not exactly a compliment).

Do you spot a fake here: "I was thinking about being a 'dumb blonde' for Halloween this year."

We had Betty Cooper in mind with this one since she hates the stereotypical "dumb blonde" label. And she's far from that, too, as she's one of the most intelligent characters on the show.

Is this legit a "Riverdale" quote: "You sound better when you're not talking."

We had both Veronica Lodge and Cheryl Blossom in mind when making up this one, especially since both of them are pretty assertive with their opinions. So, who do you think sounds more fitting for this quote?

What does your gut say about this quote: "In case you haven't noticed, I'm weird. I'm a weirdo. I don't fit in, and I don't want to fit in."

We admire Jughead Jones for always being his true self and admitting that he's OK with being a little weird. But he's also a cynical and intelligent person who is viewed as an "outsider" by others.

Is this one real or fake: "You wanted fire? Sorry, Cheryl Bombshell, my specialty is ice."

It looks like Veronica Lodge and Cheryl Blossom aren't going to be friends anytime soon, but their personalities bear some similarities to each other. Both are confident and quite charming around other people.

How does this one sound: "I would describe my humor as dark, with a dash of I-don't-give-a-crap."

Some "Riverdale" characters certainly have dark humor, and Jughead Jones is the only one who seems more vocal about it. But alas, nobody has said the above quote in these exact words.

Do you smell a fake quote here: "Who would've thought, at the beginning of the year, that we would all become great friends?"

Played by Lili Reinhart, Betty Cooper is a smart and strong character who feels the need to be perfect all the time. This has been brewing within her for some time, which is probably why she has some anger issues.

This one has to be real, right? "Yeah, well, she's just a train wreck covered in Prada clothes."

Kevin Keller seems to have an eye for fashion, and we'd like to imagine that he said this on the "Riverdale" show. Sadly, he didn't, but he's said many other memorable lines about fashion.

What do you think about this one? "If I had a dime for every time Cheryl was nice, I'd be so broke right now."

Cheryl Blossom is one of the main antagonists of the "Riverdale" show, and she's rarely portrayed as a nice person. This quote is a clear fake, but it does show how evil Cheryl really is.

Is this one a flat-out lie? "Don't underestimate her and don't bet against her."

This quote was spoken by none other than Archie Andrews, who is a very layered character in the series. On the surface, he comes across as a sweet and kind guy, but he can flip his "aggression switch" at any point.

How about this quote: "I don't follow rules, I make them. And when necessary, I break them."

Veronica Lodge is pretty outspoken about her views, and apparently, she's not afraid of making or breaking rules either. This also shows that her character is confident, sassy and unapologetic.

What does your gut tell you about this one: "Did you know I almost died in a skydiving accident?"

This one was inspired by the real Archie Andrews quote: "I survived a bear attack, Dad." And yes, there's not much of a resemblance here, but we could totally see Archie as a skydiver.

Is this a fake or the real deal: "I hate you! You were never there for me! All you did was run away all my life!"

Some characters in the "Riverdale" show have issues with their parents, but nobody said this exact quote. However, it was loosely inspired by this one: "Can I get a hug?" "Can I get a dad?"

Could this quote actually be real? "Save your tears! No one is watching."

Bret Weston Wallis isn't very nice to Jughead, and this quote pretty much sums up his personality. He's cold-hearted, assertive and highly competitive toward everybody, especially Jughead.

Real or fake? "I mean, they don’t play to win. They play to hurt."

Also known as "Mantle the Magnificent," Reggie is your typical cool jock. He's confident and aggressive on the outside, but underneath it all, he's in a lot of pain due to his abusive past.

This one sounds pretty legit, right? "You ever think this is just one big nightmare? Like we're already in hell?"

This quote sounds like something Jughead Jones would say, right? After all, he does have sardonic humor and talks about fear a lot on the show. We could only dream of having his IQ level.

Does this one smell real or fake: "I was checking if the darkness was gone. It is."

Though this quote might make Betty Cooper seem like a scaredy-cat, she's far from that in "Riverdale." In fact, she's known to be courageous and highly protective of her friends and family.

Real or fake: "Sometimes I just wanna be alone in this universe."

This could have been said by any of the main protagonists, but we see either Betty Cooper or Jughead Jones saying it. Luckily, these characters are never alone since they're surrounded by awesome people (for the most part).

Does this sound like a fake to you: "Yesterday was without a doubt the strangest Thanksgiving I have ever had."

Mary Andrews, who is played by Molly Ringwald from "The Breakfast Club," is the mother of Archie Andrews. She's also portrayed as a kind and intelligent character who cares about her son and his friends.

Is this quote real or 100% fake: "I swear on his grave, I'm not lying!"

Does someone die in the "Riverdale" show? Who knows, because this quote is 100% fake. But we will come clean about something: Many of the characters do lie about some stuff on this show.

We smell a fake, but what do you think? "This whole town has gone bonkers, man."

We're not denying that the town is crazy, but nobody really says "bonkers" on this show. However, there is some pretty catchy dialogue, so let's give a shout out to the great writers of "Riverdale."

How about this one: "To be discussed ... over many burgers ... and many days."

We hear ya Jughead. If you relate to long discussions over burgers as well, then you probably relate to Jughead Jones more than you realize. He's sweet, charming and completely fine with being a weirdo.

Does this sound like "Riverdale" writing to you: "I need girls with fire on my squad."

Bonus points if you guessed Cheryl Blossom, because she's sassy and mean with pretty much everything she says. She also seems rather picky about who she wants on her "fiery" squad.

How real is this "Riverdale" quote: "You moron! Do you realize what you've done?!"

Insults are always exchanged in the "Riverdale" show, but this quote is 100% fake. Although, we should probably assume that the characters have thought about this quote at least a few times.

Have you heard this quote on "Riverdale:" "Take it from me ... actually, don't take it from me. Ever."

Everyone wants their opinions heard on this show, which means that everyone is waiting for the opportunity to give their two cents. Whether their advice is wise or bewildering is really up to you.

Tell us if this one's the real deal:" "Listen up fives, a ten is speaking!"

Cheryl Blossom is clearly confident with her looks, as she believes that she's a 10 when it comes to beauty. Even worse, she thinks that everyone else is just a five, but beauty is in the eye of the beholder after all.

Don't overthink it, but is this quote real? "Sorry to interrupt the sad breakfast club."

You gotta love the snappy and sarcastic remarks by Cheryl Blossom, who is portrayed by Madelaine Petsch. In fact, she's so hated in the show that she actually has nicknames like "Nightmare Child" and "Deadeye."

Has this quote made it to the "Riverdale" show? "You've been talking for the past 10 minutes and you have yet to make your point."

The "Riverdale" show contains its fair share of snarky remarks and comments, but no one has phrased an insult quite like this. Though we think that Veronica Lodge may say something like this soon.

We think this quote might be a fake, but what do you think: "Doesn't it ever occur to you how different we are, like on a cellular DNA level?"

Jughead Jones talks about some pretty unique stuff, and it really shows how his mind works. After all, what other characters on the show go around talking about how they're "different from each other on a cellular DNA level?"

What do you think about this one: "I smell a rat among us. And it sure ain't me."

The "Riverdale" show is full of truths and lies, so maybe there is a rat among the core group. But we're not going to reveal any spoilers, because you'll have to watch the show to find out.

Is this sassy quote real or a total fake: "If you breathe, it's because I give you air."

Of course Cheryl Blossom said it, who else would it be? The character is like Regina George from "Mean Girls," except so much worse. She's manipulative, sarcastic and will do anything to get what she wants.
