About This Quiz

You may be wondering what a hunting trip has to do with the Canadian Armed Forces (besides both involving weaponry). But they're more closely related than you may think. When you're out in the woods hunting for game, you're not going to catch much if you're running into the forest screaming at the top of your lungs.

There's more strategy involved. For instance, if you're deer hunting, where are you going to put your blind? If you put it somewhere the deer don't frequent, you're going to have a long day ahead of you. If it's not completely hidden, the deer might get startled when they stumble across it. If it's too hidden, they might notice it at the last moment and take off.

It goes without saying that you need to be able to think strategically if you want to be an officer in the Armed Forces. If you're going to lead a group of troops into battle with their life on the line, you better know what you're doing.

Move quietly and mark the trail.
