Mostly every Disney movie has four types of characters, the princess or damsel, the hero or vigilante, the sidekick or best friend and the villain. From their very first movie, "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" back in 1937 to "Sleeping Beauty" in 1959 to "Beauty and the Beast" in 1991 to its most recent "Moana" in 2016, we've been falling in love with these characters for almost a century.

While each theme is different, most of the movies follow the same story line. It usually follows the princess, who for different reasons ends up in some type of trouble with the villain, and with the help of her sidekick and the hero, must do whatever it takes to defeat the evil monster. Most of the movies are also filled with magic, music and laugh-out-loud moments that have people coming back for more.
